Here’s Our Rainy Day Blues List! Dragonwings Bookstore - This lively, children's store has puppet demonstrations, a woodland fairy garden, a dragon's treehouse, a table-size chess game, and Melissa & Doug wooden train sets, dollhouses, barns, and puzzles in their treehouse play area. Throughout the summer they offer craft and science workshops, American Girl Events, free weekly search-and-find games, and a large selection of books, puzzles, music and games for kids. Expo Center - Located off Highway 10 on Grand Seasons Drive. The Expo Center offers open ice skate hours, with some skate rentals, from October - March. In the off season the Expo Center has scheduled hours for inline skating, basketball and an assortment of events. Movie Theatre - Rosa Theatre, 218 South Main Street, Waupaca, 258-0500. The Rosa has four screens where movies are shown during matinees and evening hours. Please call for times. Check the local advertisers or paper for featured films.
Scooper’s - Ice cream shop with video arcade. Serving a variety of Cedar Crest Ice cream and Homemade Cookies. Located next to the Wheel House Restaurant on Hwy. Q, heart of the Chain O’Lakes. Open May through September. 258-6061.
