Beaches Waterslides Canoeing/Tubing Boat Rental Cruises Map
Waupaca’s chain of 22 connected lakes, “the Chain”, is the centerpiece of this popular community’s recreational opportunities. Swimming, boating, water-skiing, canoeing, sailboarding and fishing are all popular activities on the Chain’s 728 acres. So are ice skating and ice fishing. Other popular spots include the Crystal and Waupaca Rivers, Shadow, Spencer and Stratton Lakes.
There are public boat landings on the Chain and on Shadow Lake. Boats can be rented from Becker Marine, (715) 258-9015; Chain O’Lakes Marine, (715) 258-8840 and Ding’s Dock, (715) 258-2612. Public beaches are located at South Park and Hartman Creek State Park.
